About US

Before chasing a football career into my mid-thirties everywhere you can possibly imagine, I grew up a Cheesehead raised in Central Wisconsin. Stints abroad through sports and as an exchange student in high school gave me a travel bug that has yet to go away. I met my now wife while helping to build the sport of American football with a club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Paulinha, that amazing and beautiful wife, luckily has the same itchy feet as I do. Over the past decade together, whether due to my football career, visa requirements, outside business, or just because a certain beach was calling, we have moved close to 20 times. While the nomadic lifestyle has been fun, a downside is we have never actually had a house to call our own. A return to Wisconsin in part due to the pandemic, and in part to be around family while having our first son, persuaded us to change that and pick up this property. The Pigskin Journeyman House, along with housing many of the mementos I picked up in my football travels, was designed as best we could to have everything we would want in a home if we could ever settle down in long enough in one place to purchase one.
