You can literally spend hours just looking at the breathtaking panorama in front of you from every level of this home, and just about through every window on every level. You will overlook Indian Peaks Wilderness, the Continental Divide, and Barker Reservoir Lake from the patio(s) and from every floor in the house.nAll day, this home is filled with sunshine. You can watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning, various animals during the day, and gaze at the Milky Way stars after dark around the fire pit. We have a lot of wildlife in this area, so it is very common to have elk and deer grazing through the yard of our home!nWe provide amenities such as a coffee bar, fully stocked kitchen that includes spices, bathrobes, bed warmers for the king beds and even bathroom warmer in the upstairs master bathroom.nConvenience! This home has a remote and serene feel, yet is is only a 10 minute drive from Eldora Ski Mountain; a 15-minute walk to Nederland's incredibly charming downtown; a 25 minute drive to Boulder. But with a private HOT TUB on the lower deck and fire pit on the upper deck with panoramic views, you may not want to leave the house. nIt is within minutes to a convenience store, liquor store, a tavern, and a Mexican/American restaurant. There is also a coffee shop close by where you can rub shoulders with the friendly locals and enjoy periodic musicians. There are several churches nearby, as well as dispensaries. You will really experience Colorado here. We have a natural gas fireplace for plenty of warmth so you can enjoy a cozy fire with snow falling throughout the abundant trees on the property. There are many picture windows throughout the home.nThis fully-stocked home offers everything that you would want from a mountain vacation:-high-end finishes, a double oven, bumper pool/poker/darts in the gameroom, warm and cozy blankets everywhere, extra portable heaters in every bedroom, a pellet stove in the living room, and plenty of parking! We only allow smoking outside, so please bring a warm coat if you plan to partake.nnNederland, Colorado is 8,200 elevation and can often get snow from September - April each year. The road leading into our neighborhood is a 45 degree angle and will require a 4WD vehicle during heavy snows. (January - March) Once you get up that road, the road that loops through the neighborhood is flat and our driveway is flat.
